Production from the Edvard Grieg field commenced in 2015. Our Operations Department used this opportunity to remove 80% of the work procedures that have traditionally been used, while also improving them.
Lundin Norway expects a net production of 145,000 – 165,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2020. The production comes from the fields Johan Sverdrup, Edvard Grieg, Ivar Aasen and from fields in the Alvheim area.
Johan Sverdrup and Edvard Grieg are the biggest contributors to our production. The Edvard Grieg platform platform also receives hydrocarbons from the neighboring field Ivar Aasen for processing and further export. The gas is sent to the SAGE terminal in Scotland, the oil goes to the Sture terminal in Hordaland.
